Description
This is a heavily optimized MAME build for Windows. This results in a 10 up to 30% speed increase. There's no more separate SIMD build available as testing showed that using these instructions didn't make it any faster.
Note that fastMAME DOES NOT require a processor with MMX anymore. It will now work with old Pentium, AMD K5 and Cyrix processors as well.

Additional info
If your computer can't run some games you want to play at full speed (for example Stun Runner, Taito F3 stuff or Mortal Kombat) you really should give it a try.Due to lots of MAME source changes some things might not work, however I did some testing which went well.
