GameEx is a MAME front end for Windows. Specifically for use on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets. It will run on Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP. It has support for Ultimarcs J-PAC and ArcadeVGA, the MCE remote control, Gamepads, Widescreen displays, volume control, Music playlists and should work with HotRod and XArcade Joysticks.
It was primarily written to provide a MAME front end for Windows XP Media Center edition, integrating with the application, the remote control, and having a similar look and feel.
