The Evolution of Mobile Phones

Years ago the most you could do on a mobile phone was to text someone and call them. The screens were old fashioned, the buttons clunky and touch screen was a thing of the future. Games on old phones were similiar to Tetris and thats about as good as it got, you would have things like notes if you were lucky and a list of contacts but the most you could to was text and voice call.

Lets move along to the phones of today, the screens are HD which makes videos of the latest movies and tv shows look fantastic, the crispness of the video and the sound playing in full stereo makes it feel like you are watching videos via your large screen TV and Blueray player.

But todays Mobile Phones do so much more than just play Videos, you can use your Phone to have all of your favourite music songs from as far back as you can remember, if you want Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Jacksons, Take That, Kylie Minogue then all of the music they created is available for you to listen to at will on your Mobile Phone these days.

Next up if your phone is an Android Phone then you can download the Kindle app or anyone of many Ebook apps to read all of your favourite books at anytime you would want, if your a fan of the Harry Potter books or the superlative Lord of the Rings books which at the moment the Hobbit films are being made from then the screens of todays phones mean you can read books, save your pages and even read in the darkest of areas.

The Android Phones of today can do so much more, the games are as good as their counterparts on consoles such as PS3 and Xbox360, the graphics are simply awesome, the sheer amount of apps will mean you will never play them all, nowadays you can make video calls and using apps like Skype can use the internet to talk to your friends anywhere in the world

Todays phones have moved so far from the phones or yesteryear, how far will they go in 5 years?
