1. Getting Started

To enable Barcode Boy emulation, click Option->External Device->Barcode Boy.
Currently, only the game Battle Space requires it.

2. Setting

The default setting is randomly generated a code when one is requested by the
game. To change it to manual mode, click Option->External Device->Setting...
Uncheck the option Randomly codes generation. You will see the current code
in the same screen. In manual mode, the current code will always be read by
the game. You can change the current code and the description. To save the
code, click Save Code. To load a saved code, click Load Code. Once the saved
code is loaded, be remember to switch to manual mode. Otherwise, the code
will be replaced by a random generated one.

The codes are saved in the file called barboy.cod. A sample version is
bundled with the distribution of KiGB.

3. How to find a good code?

There is no way other than trial-and-error. Set to generate codes randomly.
Once you find a good one, open the setting screen. Type in the description
and then click Save Code.

4. How can I delete a saved code?

Use a text editor to open the file barboy.cod. Find the entry and delete it.

5. Known Issues

You may get the error message by the game when trying random generated codes.
Continue to try until a valid code is generated.

A valid code may not be reconized by the game. You have to try it several
times.

The maximum codes stored is 128.

No checking on duplicate codes.
