Input Controller

(Using A PadKeyboard With Jnes)

Jnes has the Keyboard set for the input's Default. So if you have a pad the 1st stop is to set Pad Input as Default.

Click on Options like the above Picture shows and then click Input to open the Input Configuration Dialog.

The Keyboard Default settings are:

If you wish use a Pad click on the Additional Devices drop down box and then left mouse click your listed Pad.

To start assigning your pad keys, just click on the box on the right hand side of the key field as shown above. You will then be given 6 seconds to press the buttonstick on your pad you wish assigned to that buttondirection.

The Left analogue stick has now been assigned and just follow the same procedure to assign the rest with the buttonsdirection you wish for your pad to be used with Jnes. Once you are happy with the result click the Ok button to save and close the Input Configuration Dialog. If you want to use your keyboard as the input device but change the default settings to a more personal preference just follow the above using the keyboard instead of a pad. Now you are ready to start using a Gamepad or Keyboard how you like it in your Games.

Using A Zapper With Jnes

A Zapper is a Device on the Nes Console that comes in the shape of a gun. On Jnes however, you don't need to have a gun to enjoy the Zapper Function! Instead you can use your Mouse as a Zapper from the Player 2 tab and setting it to Zapper. When you load a game after you will see that your Mouse arrow pointer is now a Zapper crosshair.

To set your Mouse as the Zapper click on the Player 2 tab and then select the Zapper radio button as Above.

Now click the Ok button and load a game to see the Mouse arrow pointer changed to a Zapper Crosshair.
