(Screen Setting Full and Window in Zsnes)

Zsnes does not have Run in a Full Window set as Default. So if you want to play in Full Screen launch the Zsnes exe and set to Full Screen.

Click on Config and then Sound (like the above Picture shows) and then click on your Preferred KHz Option. From here you can enable also Stereo sound in your Games.

(Video Settings in Zsnes)

Once the Dialogue opens in its Default Options. Select your preferred settings e.g.

"D" modes allow filtering;
"R" modes match the Snes screen ratio;
"S" modes are scaled to file the entire screen.

In the same menu: Select your Mode/Filter of your Choice. If your card supports it I would recommend the excellent: MaxSt's hq2x/hq3x/hq4x filters, Kreed's 2xSaI Filter Or Kreed's Super2xSaI Filter.

Other Options

These extra settings may help you get a little more out of your Video Display in Zsnes. Just experiment with these options to see how you feel with the effect it has. Settings such as Triple buffering and Vsync can reduce screen tearing, while hi-res mode 7 increases the resolution of all mode 7 effects (not recommended) Grayscale mode is a novelty feature that renders the game in black and white. Once you have checked all your settings are correct make sure you click the X in the top right.
